BUCHANANFPC SIGN (BROAD MEMBERS)

The expertise, commitment, and collaboration of all our Board Members is the driving force that can be relied upon for the special needs and services required by the Disabled Community with and without Service Animals.

During the past nine years, this physically and mentally challenged individual has been known as the Renegade dog Nanny. He has been slowly learning what is involved with the training and caring of a Service dog and is discovering that such a process is not quite as easy as he had anticipated. Reverend George, himself, has a Service Dog (Chi-Chi) that was killed back on October 4, 2010, by a neighbor's household pet.  After the incident, Reverend George has and is working diligently to initiate stronger policies, laws, and consequences against irresponsible dog owners who feel it is amusing to have their pets attack Service Dogs.

Reverend George is an important asset to Renegades Save Our Service Animals. He is also the Co-Organizer for Baltimore Assistant Dog in Bel Air and a member of No-Kill Harford, also located in Bel Air, Maryland.

A native of the Dominican Republic and a graduate of Psychology from the University of Santo Domingo, this young lady came to the United States for an educational specialization in the Psychology of Special Needs children. While accomplishing her studies, she worked as an Assistant for a woman that was both Visually and Physically Challenged. Much like an intership, she was given the opportunity to put into practice all that she had learned and was continuing to learn. She was enlightened as to the reality of the social dilemmas of the Disabled with and without Service Animals, the issues concerning Domestic Violence within the Gay and Lesbian Community, the inadequacy of a rigid bureaucracy, and the desparate need for a change. Today, not only the proud mother of three adorable boys (Ismael, Ernesto, and Gabriel), Agueda De Los Santos continues to advocate for the Disabled and their Service Companions.

After an unfulfilling career on Wall Street, this young and humorous entrepreneur, moved into the website  graphic design industry approximately twenty years ago.

In addition to her overwhelming schedule, Alison L Gianotto founded and directs Pet-Abuse.Com.  She makes exclusive use of her talents to provide online resources to further the cause of tracking, monitoring, and updating animal abuse crimes via the only database-driven system capable of such.

Finally, Alison L Gianotto, has donated her services to Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation and is also a Board Member of Renegades Sosa-Lorm.  She was featured in People's Magazine, the October 11, 2004 Issue, and she received an award from The National Animal Protection Organization in June 2005.  Ms Gianotto was among the top ten nominees for the 2006 Animal Planet's Hero Of The Year Award. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Humane Society, use her site and database in their adoption process.

Ricki Landers was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in December 2002.  She is a Web Designer and Graphic Artist; but as a result of her MS, she was forced to give up her store and run the business, on a part time basis, from her home.  She has a loving husband (Jon), two handsome, music loving boys (Skattered Union), and a beautiful, young girl who was very much awaited.

In the year 2000, Ricki Landers designed the original Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation Website.  As a result of her innovations, the redesigned website has expanded into a Multi-Graphic, Informational and Interactive website. Ricki Landers was previously the Owner and Director of Hickory Mist Luxury Cabins and Lodges in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

This rather handsome gentleman is now retired from the NYC Metropolitan Transit Authority.  He brings a unique view to Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation, as he is not exactly animal-friendly, but highly believes that if you have a pet you should not abuse the animal, such as letting it live outside in the rain, snow, and cold/hot weather.  As he constantly states, "I would never have a pet in my house, but, at the same time, I loathe anyone who has one and abuses it".  As a result of his viewpoints and character, Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation has a better understanding of the non-animal lover and as to how we can better reach and educate this segment of the population.

As to his not having a dog in his house, Renegade (Service Canine) changed his mind on that issue. He may not admit it freely, but Zacharias Isabel Morales even cooked for Renegade. Yes, he most certainly did.

Maggie (as she is sometimes called) is presently retired from the NYC Board of Education.  For over twenty years she dedicated her time to educating and preparing young bilingual and special needs children for a better future. Several times, during her career as a Special Education Teacher, she was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award. Ms Escobar de Morales, a graduate of both the University of Puerto Rico and Lehman College in the Bronx, entered the teaching field after having spent years assisting her own daughter, who was learning impaired and demonstrated an unusual gift for animals, art, and music.  She now intends to volunteer a lifetimes worth of experience to the development of the Renegades EduCare Program, specifically geared for children and young adults.

We are more than proud to have this Veerhoff Family Member become involved with Renegades Sosa-Lorm.  She comes from a long line of Veerhoff's, fourth generation descendant, especially known, among other accomplishments, for one of Washington DC's most prominent Art Galleries, the Veerhoff Galleries.  Once located on Canal Square in the Georgetown Section of DC, the enterprise was founded in 1871 by entrepreneur Wilhelm H. Veerhoff.  The establishment was later led by Otto Louis Veerhoff and his wife, Amy Louise Warn, in 1902.  Years later, approximately 1947, yet another Veerhoff, Otto Veerhoff, together with his wife, , continued the legacy of the Veerhoff Galleries.  Otto Veerhoff, an established horticulturist  at North Carolina State University and son of Otto Louis Veerhoff, departed from the University so that he could be engaged in the oldest family-owned business in Washington DC.  Their great granddaughter, Margaret Veerhoff , in 1976, took over the business which was considered a Washington DC Institution that once deframed the Declaration of Independence.  Quite an incredible history for the Veerhoff Family.  However, it does not end there, in the year 2000, when the rent to maintain the Gallery in its present location was increased to an unacceptable level, Margaret Veerhoff was forced to liquidate its assets.  Other famous Institutions in the area were also struck by high increases in rents.  Margaret Veerhoff now resides in Fernandina Beach, Florida.  Prior to moving to Florida, she resided in Brooklyn, Maryland and not only was a Community Activist, but the Founder of Baltimore Service Dog, which now Renegades Save Our Service Animals organizes.

Dealing with a Bi-Polar Disorder and raising two children who are equally challenged, this young woman not only juggles the complexities of an emotionally challenged family, but also manages to care for other disabled people and their companion animals. She has served Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation with her compassion for people and the Service and Assistance Animals that are a part of the organization. Through her unrelenting efforts, Renegades Sosa-Lorm has spoken at the various public schools in Aberdeen, Maryland and educated the young as to the role and training of Service Animals. For the years to follow, she plans to cross that enlightenment process throughout the State of Maryland.  It is her inspiration that the agenda shall include the Harford Cable Network and the Baltimore Cable Network.

By profession a computer, networking, and telephone engineer, Zachm2 (as he is known) has dedicated over twenty years of his life as a technical specialist and consultant for such conglomerates as Cisco and Oracle, to name a few.  At present, he is working in New York City, in addition to private contracts, and volunteering his technical talents in assisting Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation.

Approximately three years ago he discovered a Bull Terrier tied to a tree in a park by the Bronx Zoo Area. He released the abandoned dog and took it to the Receiving Center of NYC Animal Care and Control.  However, he noted that the canine was very attentive, playful, obedient, and well behaved.  Realizing that the Bull Terrier had the potential for a Service and Assistance Animal, he called Renegades Sosa-Lorm and within days the Bull Terrier, renamed Bobby Jake, was on his way to the State of Maryland to become a Service Dog for a Disabled Family.

This young man, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, does not allow frontal portraits of himself to be taken, as he has no pupils.  However, this does not impede him from participating and advocating in matters of the Disabled and that of Companion Animals.  He is currently a member of the Jewish Guild for the Blind and The Lighthouse (both in New York City); and has successfully coordinated and participated in the activities of the Special Olympics.  At present, he is applying himself  to becoming more fluent in technical applications, and in raising funds for Renegades Save Our Service Animals Foundation.

FRED MOY (Special Mention) -- Originally from Hong Kong, this remarkable young man served on the Board as a Financial Consultant.  He was an original Board Member. Prior to becoming Legally Blind, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service for many years.  As a result of his Visual Impairment, he became even more aware of the social concerns within the Disabled Community, and commenced to advocate for the rights of all.  Despite he was  also Physically Challenged, he  participated, as best he could, in the advocate programs at the Associated Blind, The Helen Keller Institute, The Lighthouse, the Jewish Guild for the Blind, and Renegades Save Our Service Animals.  Unfortunately, Frey Moy passed away from a heart attack and he will be dearly missed not only because of his wondrous work, but also as the friend he was to us all. Reverend Syndia-Gregoria will never forget the outstanding Birthday Dinner he gave her at a beautiful Chinese Restaurant in China Town, NYC.
